What’s Happening This Month in Boulder County?

Happy March from the team at Young Insurance! Spring is almost upon us! We hope you’ll get out and enjoy some of the fun activities happening this month in Boulder County.

Beer Mile & World’s Shortest Parade

Can you just not wait until March 17 to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? A week prior, on Sunday, March 10, there will be a St. Patrick’s Day parade hosted by the Boulder Beer Co. The Beer Mile starts at 11:00 a.m., costs $35, and entails drinking half a beer and completing a fun challenge for every 1/4 mile loop around the brewery. The St. Patrick’s Day parade starts at 3:00 and features food, live music, costumes, and much more! Dress in your best St. Patty’s Day attire and come join the fun!

Boulder Comedy Show

Could you use a few laughs to help you get through this last leg of the winter? The Bohemian Biergarten in Boulder hosts their Boulder Comedy Show for two shows, one at 7:00 and one at 9:15, every Sunday night. The next one coming up is on March 10. Be sure to get there early, because the show normally sells out! Tickets are $7 each. If you’re looking for something fun to do on a Sunday night rather than think about the upcoming work week, look no further!

STORY by Boulder Symphony

The Boulder Symphony Concert Hall at First Presbyterian Church in Boulder is excited to present STORY, a concert experience celebrating and recreating some of the most iconic musical moments in cinema. They’ll be playing music from E.T., Jurassic Park, The Incredibles, Harry Potter, Star Wars and more! The concert is Saturday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and free to students and anyone under 18! Don’t miss this exciting chance to hear some of the music from your favorite, nostalgic movies!

Women, Wine & Wellness

How does a night of pampering, tranquility and rejuvenation sound? On Thursday, March 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Koru Chiropractic in Louisville is hosting Women, Wine & Wellness, an event with food, drinks, massages, and much more, all provided for free by the team at Koru Chiropractic and local vendors. Even though it’s free, be sure to RSVP. Take a break from the stressfulness of life and come relax!
